Camp Young Lives 2021 - Olympics!

 

Camp Young Lives was back in 2021 - CAMP OLYMPICS!!!  

The exciting Tokyo 2020 Olympics (held in 2021 due to Covid-19) was all over much too soon.  Wanting to extend our summer AND extend the Olympics, we hosted our own Camp Young Lives: Camp Olympics!  Our camp was held the final week of our summer break - the last full week of August.  

Olympic Torches, Olympic Rings, World Flags, Olympics crafts, Olympics snacks, Olympics history, Sports training, and learning of Paul's missionary travels . . . it was a fabulous week of FUN! 

"Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize?  Run in such a way as to get the prize.  Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training.  They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever." 1 Corinthians 9:24-25

It is our hope that all of our children will always give their best effort in all their endeavors - to do their very best to the glory of God - and live a "full-hearted" Christian life . . . "to run so that they may obtain the prize."
