Blueberries

It's picking season!  Our expert pickers outdid themselves at the berry patch - collecting 20 pounds of delicious blueberries in record time.  (And that's not counting the many taste tests along the way!)  So good!  We've already eaten through a quarter of our fresh produce and have frozen the rest for later . . . pie?  jelly?  ice cream sauce?  muffins?   I can't wait!

• Early June strawberry picking - these kids pick them quickly and eat them even faster!  We're thankful for local farms to visit for fresh fruit (and mama's thankful to have 11 of 13 kids together on an outing!).
